New Disbursement Method for Financial Aid from HigherOne

Beginning Spring 2012, students who have not completed their fee payment arrangements after (10) ten days from the time of their registration will be dropped from their classes for non-payment of course fees. However, you may qualify for an enrollment fee waiver (BOGW) to help cover the cost of your CA Resident enrollment fees.

(processing time for BOGW is 1-2 weeks and additional grants 4-6 weeks)
Please Note: The BOGW waives ONLY CA Resident Enrollment Fees.
Other course related fees, such as lab or materials fees,
must be paid by the student.

Eight Steps to Financial Aid
Students must apply for financial aid each year. The priority application period is January 1st through March 2nd for the following academic year; however, applications are available throughout the year. It is a good idea to plan ahead as the process is lengthy.
Apply for financial aid using the online FAFSA.
Complete the Application for Admission by selecting Admissions, Apply for Admissions, Apply Now from the link at http://yc.yccd.edu/ Be sure to provide your current mailing and email addresses.
Once you have entered your Yuba College application data, you need to check in with the Admissions & Records Office to obtain any additional documents to complete the application process.
Check your Financial Aid status and required documents on MyCampus Portal/WebAdvisor under Financial Aid/My Documents
Return required documents to the Financial Aid Office to complete your file. You may qualify for a fee waiver before you register. Documents are processed on a first come, first served basis. Submit requested documents as soon as possible.
Yuba College posts your award letter on MyCampus Portal/WebAdvisor. Average processing time is 4-6 weeks. During PEAK periods, processing time is as long as 8 weeks.
Be sure to activate and use your YCCD Campus email. The College will be using this email to communicate with you.
